For this song I kept the arrangement very simple, only three electric guitars and my voice. The album art is vintage illustration by the Japanese artist Utagawa Hiroshige(1797-1858) called “A red plum branch against the summer moon”.

Clown In The Moon
By Dylan Thomas
My tears are like the quiet drift
Of petals from some magic rose;
And all my grief flows from the rift
Of unremembered skies and snows.
I think, that if I touched the earth,
It would crumble;
It is so sad and beautiful,
So tremulously like a dream.

Dylan Thomas
Dylan Thomas (1914-1953) was a British poet and is considered by many to be one of the greatest writers of the 20th century. His work has inspired artists like Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan and Taylor Swift. Unlike many his contemporary writers Dylan doesn’t explore social themes, his work is therefore often compared to writers of the Romantic era. Throughout his life Dylan struggled with money and alcoholism and died aged 39 during a reading tour in America.
